Ballet Contemporary with Z. Ingram
This ballet class will have a contemporary approach at the barre and in the center, allowing the full body to contribute to the movement and not just the pose. Your sense of épaulement will be stretched as you explore getting off center in your ballet technique. Instructor Zach Ingram (a total bunhead at heart!) will ask you to investigate the full body and your absolute physical prowess by going to the end of a movement and asking, "How does that take you to the next place?" We'll rely on classical ballet technique as our the anchor, so that new exploration can happen.
Contemporary with B. Moore
Taught by Bridget L. Moore, Artistic Director of B. MOORE DANCE, this class will be centered around the fundamentals of contemporary and modern dance aesthetics. Dancers will be taken through a series of exercises that build on strength, agility and flexibility, while challenge the technique. The class will conclude with combinations, focusing on emotional connection, alignment and the use of body weight and spatial awareness.
Jazz with Z. Ingram
Turning, falling, jumping, rebounding – Zach Ingram’s choreography is sure to have you smiling and sweating at the same time! Dancers in his jazz class will enjoy a mix of jazz styles that come together to create 6 o'Clock Dance Theatre's sultry expressions. Suggested attire: any clothes you can easily move in.
Repertory with B. Moore
In this Repertory class, participants will be able to work with Artistic Director, Bridget L. Moore to learn movement vocabulary from the company's current repertoire. Moore's choreographic works provide both cultural and kinesthetic experiences rooted in African-American and global dance aesthetics. Her work is physical and technically challenging, integrating historical and cultural perspectives through research and development.
Pilates with B. Myers
This Pilates class will focus on a variety of muscle groups, emphasizing the core with each exercise. The class will be taught using slow and controlled movements, working on strength, stability, posture, proper breath control, and flexibility. (Taught by B. MOORE DANCE company member, Brittney Myers)
Graham with Sarah Cat-Hendricks
Join former Graham company dancer Sarah Cat-Hendricks to explore the movement style that reshaped American dance in the early 20th century! Graham technique will build your strength, balance, stamina and focus, while extending your kinetic vocabulary. This class will provide an introduction to fundamental Graham phrases and repertory. Suggested attire: leotard, footless tights and bare feet.

Repertory with Z. Ingram
Taught by Artistic Director Zach Ingram, this class will introduce you to movement from 6 o'Clock Dance Theatre's repertory. Get ready for a true fusion of styles (ballet, jazz and modern) in a class that promises not to disappoint.
