Alex grew up in Bedford, Texas, where she trained in various styles of dance, including ballet, jazz, and contemporary. She was a member of the competition and performance companies at Kendyl's Dance Academy and Rhythm Nation. In high school, Alex was the dance soloist for the grand national championship-winning L.D. Bell Marching Band.
Alex graduated from Texas A&M University with a B.A. in Communication and a minor in journalism. She works in advertising and public relations at The Richards Group, where she was recently named one of Dallas' top 32 Under 32 people in advertising.
Since graduation, Alex has continued her dance training at multiple studios throughout the Dallas area. In 2016, she performed in the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders' Halloween halftime show. Alex guest performed with 6 O'Clock Dance Theatre in spring 2017 and is thrilled to be dancing with the company again in the 2018 spring showcase.
