Holly Tate, 22, grew up in Southwest Colorado and began taking ballet classes at the age of 4. She branched out to contemporary, jazz, and lyrical several years later. Holly attended multiple ballet schools and summer intensives including Brigham Young University, State Street Ballet of Santa Barbara, Texas Ballet Theater, and Danceworks International Ballet Academy in London.
She performed in State Street Ballet’s Durango, Colorado production of “The Nutcracker” for 7 years and also taught the professional choreography to younger students for the last 4 years. Holly taught ballet in her community throughout high school, and is currently teaching at Bergmann School of Dance and Sparks Academy of Dance.
Holly’s formal education includes Colorado Mesa University, Arts Immersion Denver, and Texas Ballet Theater School, which culminated in her receiving her Associate of Arts from Tarrant County College in 2019.
