Lindsay Rodriguez

Lindsay began her ballet training at the age of three and went on to dance as a merit scholarship student in the Ballet Austin Academy. While there, she performed and toured in productions with the professional company and was offered a traineeship upon her high school graduation. Taking a different path, Lindsay received an artistic scholarship to attend Southern Methodist University and completed her BFA in Dance Performance. 


Lindsay has trained with Ballet Austin, Kansas City Ballet, Boston Ballet, Lines Contemporary Ballet, and received a full merit scholarship from Ballet Chicago. She has performed in works by notable choreographers such as Arthur Mitchell, Jessica Lang, Max Stone, Stephen Mills, Gerald Arpino, and her favorite, George Balanchine. 


Lindsay has spent the past many years choreographing, rehearsing, and directing dance works for the children at the Tree of Life Children's Village in Lusaka, Zambia and is working toward her Master of Science in Counseling from, her alma mater, SMU. 

Lindsay is excited to join 6 o'Clock Dance Theatre for their Spring Showcase.
