Madison McKay

Madison McKay has loved to dance for as long as she can remember. She began her training at The Ballet Conservatory in Lewisville, Texas, and was a member of LakeCities Ballet Theatre from 2008-2013. During her time with LBT, she performed in various full-length ballets and placed in the YAGP Regional Top 12 while competing in Dallas. Her most notable roles were as Second Violin in George Balanchine’s Concerto Barocco and as Swanhilda in Coppelia.

Madison accepted an artistic merit scholarship to Southern Methodist University in 2013 and then graduated with a BBA in Marketing and a BFA in Dance Performance in 2017. While studying at SMU, Madison developed a love for choreography and created two pieces that were selected to be performed in the division’s Brown Bag Series. She also performed in numerous works created by both her peers and renowned choreographers including Alex Sanchez, Robert Dekkers, and Brandi Coleman. In addition to her collegiate experience, Madison also studied with the San Francisco-based Alonzo King LINES Ballet in 2015.

Madison currently serves as a Regional Talent Coordinator for K&L Gates and holds board positions with multiple non-profit organizations.
