Kayleigh Edison

Dancer

A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, Kayleigh graduated in 2017 from Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where she earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance.


Kayleigh started her pre-professional dance training at Studio A Dance, Inc. and performed works by José Limón, David Norsworthy, Shana Simmons, and Ruben Graciani. In addition, Kayleigh has trained at Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, Alonzo King’s LINES Ballet, San Francisco Conservatory, and developed her own choreographic work. 


For her professional career, Kayleigh has performed in “Samson and Delilah” with The Dallas Opera, Mary Kay Friends of Time, and was featured in several Dallas commercials. Kayleigh joined Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s: Encore! for their 2017 - 2018 season and for their 2018 - 2019 season. She then joined B.Moore Dance for their 2019 - 2020 season and was a guest artist with Bruce Wood Dance. Kayleigh has danced at the APAP Dance Conference in New York City, IABD Conference, Exchange Dance Festival in Tulsa, and Fintdaz Dance Festival in Chile, South America.


Aside from performing, Kayleigh has set works on 6 o’Clock Dance Theatre, Point Park University, Dallas Black Dance Theatre’s: Encore!, and IM Terrell’s Academy for VPA and STEM. In addition to dancing with 6 o’Clock Dance Theatre, Kayleigh is a Pilates and dance instructor in the DFW metroplex.


Kayleigh joined 6 o’Clock Dance Theatre as a dancer in January 2022.
