Alex Langley

Development & Outreach Coordinator

J. Alexander Langley is a proud alumnus of the Booker T. Washington High School of Performing and Visual Arts in Dallas, TX. He went on to study ballet and jazz dance performance at Point Park University in Pittsburgh, PA. Alex has also danced as a company member with Dallas Neo-Classical Ballet, Anita N. Martinez Ballet Folklorico, Ballet Dallas (formerly Contemporary Ballet Dallas), DBDT: Encore (formerly Dallas Black Dance Theatre II), and Bruce Wood Dance.


He has also performed at various industrial events such as the Mary Kay National Seminars, on Holland America and Princess Cruise Lines as a production cast member, in television commercials, and in musical theater productions such as Lyric Stage's production of "Fiddler on the Roof" and Lubbock Moonlight Musicals' production of "Tarzan".


His concert choreography has a “flirty-meets-fierce” signature and has been performed by Dallas Black Dance Theatre II, Anita N. Martínez Ballet Folklorico, and 6 o’Clock Dance Theatre. Alex has also been fortunate enough to choreograph musical plays like Disney’s Newsies, RENT: School Edition, The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical, and La Cage Aux Folles, and Black Nativity for Bishop Arts Theatre Center.
