Madeline (Maddy) Swandt grew up in the DFW area and began her dance training at a young age. At the age of 11, Maddy pursued dance in a more rigorous capacity at the Epicenter for the Arts until her junior year of high school. Throughout Maddy’s high school tenure, she trained in the dance techniques of Ballet, Pointe, Modern, Contemporary, Jazz, and Hip Hop. 

During Maddy’s senior year of high school, Maddy joined Zion Dance Project as a professional dancer for the company’s Residency Program and 2021 - 2022 inaugural season. After finishing high school, she attended Point Park University where she began her B.F.A. in Modern Dance and later transferred to Texas Christian University. 

Maddy moved back to the DFW area to begin her professional career in dance with 6 o’Clock Dance Theatre for the 2023 - 2024 season. Outside of rehearsals, Maddy pursues a full-time retail job and enjoys furthering her college education in the artistic field of dance.
