Ema Borras

Rehearsal Director & Dancer

Ema Borras began training in the Vaganova method at Metropolitan Classical Ballet in Arlington, Texas under the direction of Alexander Vetrov and Yelena Borisova. She graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from The University of Texas at Austin, where she performed with Dance Repertory Theater. During those four years, she had the honor of performing an original work by David Justin at The Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. and also performed guest artist works by Ohad Naharin, Paul Taylor, Robert Battle, and Alex Ketley.


After returning to Fort Worth, she began to work as a freelance artist. She has worked with both classical ballet and contemporary companies including Ballet North Texas, Dallas Neo-Classical Ballet, Mejia Ballet International, Ballet Concerto, Pedestrian Dance Movement, Urban Performing Company, and Wanderlust Dance Company. She has also had the pleasure of performing with The Dallas Opera. Ema joined 6 o’clock Dance Theatre as a Company Member in January 2020 and fulfilled the role of Rehearsal Director in August 2024. Outside of dance, Ema works as a cosmetologist in the DFW metroplex.
