Kelsey Rhinehelder

Dancer

Kelsey Rhinehelder started dancing at a young age and studied the techniques of Ballet, Jazz, and Modern at the Ballet Conservatory in Lewisville, Texas under the direction of Kelly Lannin. At the age of 16, Kelsey joined the LakeCities Ballet Theatre pre-professional company where she had the opportunity to dance in many great ballet works such as Balanchine’s Serenade (excerpt) and received training from great artists such as Sarah Lane.

 

Kelsey graduated from the University of the Arts in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with a B.F.A. in Dance in 2015. During her undergraduate education, she was exposed to many forms and styles of dance including African, Hip-Hop, Aerial Arts, and Gaga. In addition, she had the opportunity to train under Michael Sheridan and Riolama Lorenzo as well as perform in works choreographed by Sidra Bell, Kim Bears-Bailey, and Douglas Becker.

 

After graduation, Kelsey returned to dance with LakeCities Ballet Theatre as a guest artist from 2015 to 2019 and joined ImPULSE Dance Project from 2018 to 2022. She has been working full-time as a Payroll Coordinator at LiquidAgents Healthcare and received a promotion to Team Lead in 2022. Kelsey joined 6 o’Clock Dance Theatre as a Dancer in August 2023.
